Honey Garlic Pork Chops
Ingredients:
4 pork chops (with or with no bone)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh Turkish parsley — for garnish
Method:
1. Season the Pork Chops:
salt and pepper your pork chops on both sides
2. Cook the Pork Chops:
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium-high heat.
- Place the pork chops in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes over each side until they are cooked through and browned (the internal temp should read 145 degrees Celsius/63 degrees Celsius).
- Transfer the pork chops from the skillet and let it on a plate.
3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- Using the same skillet, bring it back to medium heat; throw in minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant.
— Add honey, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes or until it starts to thicken up slightly.
4. Coat the Pork Chops:
Add pork chops back to the skillet and spoon honey garlic sauce over the top. Allow them to simmer in the sauce for another 1–2 minutes.
5. Garnish and Serve:
* Top with chopped fresh parsley and serve over mashed potatoes or other side vegetables alongside pork chops.
