Ingredients:
- 1 pound fettuccine
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Method:
1. **Cook the Pasta**: Prepare the fettuccine according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
2. **Prepare the Alfredo Sauce**: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for 1 minute until aromatic. Incorporate the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, then lower the heat and allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
