Grilled Teriyaki Salmon
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Sesame seeds and scallions for garnish
Method:
1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil (optional), ginger and garlic to make the teriyaki marinade.
2. Add salmon fillets to a sealable bag and pour in the marinade. Cover and place in the refrigerator to marinate AT LEAST 30 minutes.
3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon fillets on the grill for 4-5 minutes per side and keep brushing extra marinade on them as well.
4. Take out of the grill and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve it with steamed rice or grilled vegetables.
